FOMIS - Development of Management Information Systems for the Forestry Sector
The consortium lead by NIRAS in association with GFA has been awarded the contract to implement the FOMIS project. Green Field will be the sub-contractor for this project and will provide local forest ICT expertise to help ensure the successful operation of the project by providing support in design and implementation of FOMIS.
This Euro 4 million project funded by Finnish Government, TFF and MARD aiming at making more accurate information available for forestry decision making. According to the Vietnam Forestry Development Strategy (VFDS) this means planning and monitoring solutions that contain information on forest resource, forestry activities and their socio-economic impacts. Possible solutions include e.g. forest inventory, forest management planning, activity monitoring cialis generic brand prescription drugs and impact monitoring. The project contains the following main activities:
- Establish regulations and procedures for managing, cheap cialis brand name updating, and sharing of information between forestry units as basis for operations and for linking of forestry information systems
- Carry out design and establishment of forestry information systems databases and software;

The FOMIS project will start in June 2009 and ended by June 2011.

ADB RETA 6424: Enhancing Effective Regulation of Water and Energy Infrastructure and Utility Services
